Bruce D. Johnson is a business growth strategist and the author of “Breaking Through Plateaus” as well as the forthcoming book, “Becoming Scalable.”
He’s an expert in the areas of business growth, strategic planning, leadership, systems thinking and marketing to attract and retain more clients and customers. He graduated with a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1983. He then took an unusual turn and spent the next 22 years of his life in church ministry (including earning his M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL), the last fifteen and a half of those at a church he started with two families that grew to two thousand people and $2.7 million in revenue.
He left pastoral ministry in 2005 and has been coaching, speaking and consulting with business owners and entrepreneurs since then. So, Bruce knows what it’s like to sit in your chair. He knows what it’s like to start from nothing and then build something large. He knows what it’s like to cast vision, inspire people, build teams, solve problems, innovate new approaches, create systems, raise money, build facilities, grow new organizations, provide customer service, execute plans, and ensure alignment. And, on top of all that, he’s also given over 1,000 different presentations.

He currently lives in Mount Pleasant, SC, a suburb of Charleston, SC, with his wife, Jacquie (celebrating 36+ years of marriage) and they have two adult daughters (Chelsea and Brooke), two sons-in-law and three grandchildren (with three more on the way). Bruce is a past board member of the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce and a past member of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he’s also a sponsor and advisor for the Harbor Accelerator here in Charleston, SC.
Bobby C. Christian is a serial entrepreneur and has participated in six successful exits.
He’s currently the COO of deepwatch, the fastest growing managed security services company in the US. Previous to that, he was the President and COO of a healthcare company, Quantivus. Previous to that, he was the Chief Revenue/Growth Officer of Siteworx (now Shift7Digital) where revenues grew by 50% during his tenure there.
Previous to that, he was a Director and the Chief Growth Officer at 3 Pillar Global, which grew from 3 to over 600 employees during his time there and was an Inc. 500 company (#44).
Prior to that, he was a Director and President at Tangible Software (now Tangible Security), where during his time there the company grew from $1M to $25M and from 10 employees to over 120 employees.
Prior to that, he was a co-founder and CEO of True North Solutions, where he led the company from $0 to over $35M in revenue, and from three co-founders to over 120 employees—in less than four years. He remained there after the company was acquired by American Systems and stayed until it was divested a year later with a $90M run rate.
Prior to that, Bobby was on the Executive Team at Netrex Secure Solutions which grew it’s run rate from $7M to $50M in a little over a year before a successful acquisition by Internet Security Systems. And before all of that, Bobby started his career at Anderson Consulting (now, Accenture), where he was part of the Technology Competency group and served clients in the financial, telecommunications and energy sectors.
Bobby graduated from Virgina Tech in 1991 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. But, more importantly, he’s married to his Jr. High sweetheart, Patti, and the two of them have four children (Curtis, Kayla, Nikki and Tori) and they (Bobby and Patti) also live in Mount Pleasant, SC.
